Beach Fun...In January!!

The kids and I brought my cousin Angela to Port Townsend on a little sight seeing adventure last weekend. We weren't sure what to expect in terms of the weather (after all, it is January in Washington), but as it turned out, the wind wasn't blowing and the rain wasn't falling so we ended up having a great time exploring the old Fort Worden lighthouse and beach. At first both of the kids were a bit skeptical of the loud surf, but it didn't take long for both of them to start playing in the sand (and water in Anna's case).
