I love new beginnings...

As we were playing around in the yard the other day I happened upon an amazing bird's nest. Were it not for the mother bird darting out from under a low branch on the tree as I walked by, I would have never thought to check the tree for a nest. As I moved the branch aside to peer into the tree I saw, nestled safely against the tree trunk, the truly amazing work of a tiny little bird and inside three little blue spotted eggs. You'd think the first thing I would do would be to summon John and the kids to bear witness to my discovery, but instead I raced inside the house to grab my camera and capture the moment in its purest form.
