Is it summer or is it a dream???

Okay, so we have had several nice days now and it is precicted to hit near 80 degrees this weekend. Sadly, John will be on a trip and sure to miss not only this nice weather, but his son's first birthday. Before you all go and get sad on us, let it be known that it was a family decision to forego the actual birthday day celebration for one week so as to accomodate both some friends of ours who are visiting as well as Grandma and Grandpa who will be in town then as well. The silver lining to it all is that we are thankful John has full time work that is readily available. It's just too bad that the work is 1/2 way around the world. This picture of Little John was taken this afternoon as we were finishing up a car washing session. I think it will make a good partner on the wall to the picture of Anna in the previous post. What a pair these two are. We love them dearly and it has to be said that I just can't stop staring into those humongous eyes the two of them have.
